新版本將自動下載到設備上，或者可以通過訪問設置應用程序通過OTA手動安裝。在主屏當中選擇"通用"，然後選擇 "軟件更新"就可以立即開始更新。

iOS14.7和iPadOS14.7原本計劃是iOS 14的最終版本（因為iOS 15已經離我們不遠，目前開發的重點都在新版本上），但由於bug較為明顯，不得不快速發佈一個修正版本。

蘋果目前還在開發者和Beta通道測試和打磨其裡程碑式的操作系統更新，包括iOS 15、iPadOS 15、tvOS 15和watchOS 8，它正在秋季發佈前進行最終階段的測試。
